Mary Khamisian Tavoukjian, RN, BSN

Clinical Care Coordinator

Mary Khamisian Tavoukjian graduated with a B.S. in Nursing from West Coast University in 2014. She has since worked as a registered nurse with UCLA Health at UCLA Medical Center in Santa Monica, CA and more recently has taken on the role of Clinical Care Coordinator in our practice, maintaining our clinical records, answering clinical questions, conducting virtual intakes over Simple Practice Telehealth (our virtual HIPPA compliant system), and compiling records for treatment or neuropsychological assessments. 


Her nursing practice has focused on adult medical surgical services. Mrs. Tavoukjian has actively engaged in leadership roles within her unit, serving as a member of the in-unit practice council and establishing herself as an experienced charge nurse. Her experience has led her to develop a passion for health and wellness promotion beyond traditional nursing practices. She recognizes the importance of integrating holistic approaches to patient care to address physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual wellness. She finds fulfillment in bridging her nursing expertise with nutrition and health promotion strategies to empower her patients to lead healthier lives.


Mrs. Tavoukjian's collaborative nature is a cornerstone of her professional approach. She thrives in interdisciplinary team settings, finding great value in her partnership with mental health professionals. She deeply understands and appreciates their critical role in promoting positive behaviors and overall well-being in their patients, and her collaborative efforts reflect this understanding.


Mrs. Tavoukjian is fluent in Armenian. She serves as a founding board member of the Armenian American Sports Medicine Coalition, a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing sports medicine, exercise science, and rehabilitation in the Republic of Armenia.
